How to Travel with Dive Gear like a Pro

When it comes to dive travel, there’s a lot that you can do to minimize the stress. Here’s a short list of our best scuba travel tips!

1. Keep a Packing Checklist  I keep an ongoing list in my phone of items of my absolute essentials to pack for every trip. I have categories. Dive bag items checklist, Shaving kit & Meds list, Clothes, technology, It makes last-minute packing a lot less stressful because there's always a checklist for reference."

2. Roll don't fold. Much easier to store your t shirts, pants, shorts etc. They actually fill the Voids. Many items have voids in them that you can stuff with other items. The foot pocket  of your fins, tennis shoes, extra space in Regulator bag, a dry box, etc. Great storage for socks, gloves, underwear, do-rags, booties, etc.

3. Travel size items.  Obvious right? But many items you bring can be transferred into smaller containers than they come in. A small pill box with 7 compartments can carry a weeks worth of vitamins, pain killers, anti diarrhea meds, etc.  You can find clever items useful for travel. International voltage cube 1 1/2 inch square. USB multi charger that charges 4+ items at the same time. Even a toothbrush that separates like a pen and inserts into a cap taking up 1/2 the space.
