The Future of Wetsuits

From petroleum to limestone based neoprene, the manufacture of wetsuits has always left a significant carbon footprint in its wake. But now, wetsuit manufacturers like Henderson, Akona and Aqualung are taking the leap into the future of "green" wetsuits. Take, for example, Henderson's newest line of Greenprene, made from natural materials like sugar cane, plant oils and oyster shells.
