Many will opt for a standard travel backpack, but the more savvy divers may bring a secret weapon… a dry bag!

Dry bags get their name from, well, you guessed it: they keep everything inside nice and dry. Some can be standalone bags in various sizes, while others can be integrated into your mesh bags! One thing’s for certain: you won’t regret bringing one on board. Not only do they float if accidentally tossed overboard, but they are virtually impossible to get any water in, making it a no brainer for storing cellphones, wallets, keys, and other travel valuables. Some even have one way valves on them that allow them to pack down!
