Must Dive Cozumel Spots for Photographers!
It’s a well known fact that Cozumel offers an inexpensive and easily accessible playground for new divers and veterans alike. From the shallow, near shore reefs to The Devil’s Throat, there’s a wide variety of dive environments to explore, and almost any one you choose will be chock full of brightly colored fishes, corals and more. That being said, there are a few tried and true spots for photographers to check out!
El Cedral
A coveted dive site by many, Cedral has lots to offer at a moderate depth. Dive down to just 50 feet and you’re sure to spot grunts, grouper, angelfish and more with lots of hidden eels and lobsters to boot!
Palancar Reef
Ahhh, Palancar. Bring you’re wide angles, because there are lots to see in this beginner friendly site. Calm seas mixed with hordes of fish backdropped against giant sea fans, gorgonians, sponges and more make for a great first site.
Santa Rosa
Whether deep or shallow, there’s plenty of life to find hiding among the wide swim throughs and caves. Turtles, parrotfish, and the occasional eagle ray have been known to congregate here, so look beyond the walls, too!
